Muppet Syr Redux

In my post about a dream of Boars, I made a side note of Miss Piggy, especially when dressed as a Valkyrie, being a potential pop-culture representation of Freyja in Her guise as Syr, the Sow of the Vanir.

Muppet Syr?

This evening I stumbled upon a more recent version of Miss Piggy as a Valkyrie, and thought I should share. 😀

Granted, those should be falcon or hawk wings, if we’re to take this as a representation of Freya, but I don’t actually think they were aiming for that. I just adore the Muppets and rather like the idea of Muppet representations of… well… just about anything, really. Hee!
