‘m Not Dead Yet!

In case it’s not obvious from my general silence, I’ve gone to ground a bit.ย  Winter is a quieter time for me.

In this case, though, a lot of my silence is because my writing time right now is focused on preparing my graduate school applications. It may take several years of applying to my target programs before I get in, but I will keep trying! Wish me well – any prayers or good juju folks can sent my way to get me through the bureaucracy with my sanity intact, and into a good program as soon as possible are well appreciated!

Anyway, by the time my applications for the year are finished, the holidays will be in full swing, and I don’t know how much time I’ll have for posting, but I will hopefully have more energy and focus for it. I haven’t forgotten the prompts you all so generously provided for honoring my Lady Clare. ๐Ÿ™‚

In the meantime, may you all enjoy the holytide, and don’t worry too much about me. I’ll resurface soon enough!

Be Well,
–Ember–

About EmberVoices

Ember Cooke has been a member of Hrafnar and Seidhjallr for more than a decade, where she trained to be a Seidhkona, Galdrakona, and Gythia. She founded the Vanic Conspiracy and made ordination vows to the Vanir and her congregation in the summer of 2013. She has contributed to several publications on Heathen and Northern Pagan subjects and regularly presents rituals and workshops at festivals. Her personal practice is more diverse, as the Vanir have lead her into cross-training and service for the wider Pagan community. This has including medium and servitor training in American Umbanda, clergy training with the Fellowship of the Spiral Path, and jail ministry for local counties. She holds a BA with honors in Religious Studies from Santa Clara University. Ember has lived all her life in the south San Francisco Bay Area, and is intimately bound to the valley of her birth.
